After a wonderful two year partnership with size? delivering size? Artist Training & Development programme Sound City is going back to its roots with LAUNCH Artist Training & Development programme.

With Sound City’s unrivaled reputation for acting as a stepping stone by constantly elevating and supporting new music and artists to enter the music industry, the LAUNCH Artist Training And Development Programme powered by CAPLL & Arts Council England cannot wait to support the next generation of artists on their journey.

LAUNCH Artist Training & Development Programme powered by CAPLL & Arts Council England is a unique developmental course, aimed to enrich and cultivate new talent starting their careers in the industry. It is a helping hand to run alongside an artists already existing trajectory or to aid in creating a new one.

With its direct impactful success (incorporating an insightful programme that included mentorship and masterclasses from the likes of Karima Kingsely - Tour Manager of Wet Leg & Gorja Smith, Shell Zenner of Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing and Dan Jones of PRS For Music, various instore and outstore performance opportunities and notable course alumni such as The Mysterines, Tilly Louise and Reignmaker, Sound City are focused on creating a programme that can’t be matched for emerging and grassroots artists, ready to build their careers in front of them.

The reimaging of LAUNCH Artist Training & Development Programme for 2023 will see 15 artists developing their skills and career opportunities, across 12 months through various masterclasses, workshops, performance opportunities & Industry mentors. Our artists will gain expert knowledge on songwriting, recording & producing, music distribution, tour management, funding, marketing, PR, personal development, brand awareness/growth and more.They will have the chance to follow their artistic intuition with free recording spaces on offer and a bursary of £200 to aid and bring their vision to life.
