Strong woman, Smart woman, Proud Woman, Chinchilla. A mantra this fiery Urban Pop artist from London lives by. Chinchilla has spent the last year co-writing in sessions with some award winning songwriters and producers such as Jin Jin (Platinum selling writer), Tim Hawes (Ivor Novello award), Lucy Spraggan (X Factor 2012), and Max Herman (producer; Paloma Faith, The Saturdays, Royal Philharmonic orchestra), refining her craft and and working on her debut EP which blends honest heartbreak with sassy, fierce feminism, coming summer 2018. Drawing on influences such as Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Anne-Marie, and Stefflon Don, Chinchilla is renowned for her live shows which bring attitude, high-energy, and soaring vocals to the stage, complemented with sharp empowering lyrics; a bundle which truly captivates her audience. From Tileyard's Summer Special Networking Event, to BBC Introducing hosts Amplify 2017, she has been gigging her material at some of the UK’s hottest venues and events, including Old street Records where she performed a set of Skunk Anansie hits with their legendary guitarist Ace who described her as a ‘powerhouse of a lady’ and ‘one of the best and most unique artists [he’s] come across in years'.
