Mitch Sanders describes the heart of his community in Bristol with his debut single 'Garden of England'. Celebrating life, love, togetherness and the boundless possibilities of it all, Mitch’s music creates a cinematic realm full of rich storytelling and acoustic-to-electronic production. Working on construction sites pre-pandemic, at home with his guitar, Sanders digs into his emotions, into feelings of vulnerability and fragility, and turns them into strengths. Dedicating prose to the people, places and things in the southwest that mean the most to him. Having made a name for himself locally through powerful word-of-mouth live performances, over the past couple of years, Mitch has been honing his craft and finding his voice, working alongside the likes of Declan McKenna, Flyte and his producing partner Catherine Marks (boygenius, Foals, Wolf Alice) on his debut body of work.

Mitch launched his first single, ‘Garden of England’, a deeply felt homage to the community and connections that made him – and that still bind him together, and keep him whole. Written in the summer of 2023 with the Flyte duo, the track is a rippling, coming-of-age storm that introduces the world to exactly who Mitch Sanders is.
