Blackburn born, Violet Youth​ have come a long way in a very short time. Establishing
themselves as local rockstars, they have since featured on BBC Introducing Lancashire​, ‘Best
new acts of 2017’ (Get Into This)​ as well as an upcoming tour of China and its festivals. All of
this by the tender age of 19, they are quickly establishing a reputation as one of Lancashire’s
bands to watch. Creating their own sonic landscapes of deep, dark and melancholic ambience
they have drawn comparisons to The Cure & The Smiths, showing huge promise for powering
through to the next round of Pirate Studios music development programme, Pirate Prodgies.
