My name is Manta I am 21 years old half Japanese born in Japan. I am currently studying music production at BIMM after dropping out of architecture to pursue my dream of music. When dropping out of a course I had spent 7 years of hard work to get into, my parents and I fell out and lost contact for a long period of time; they felt I was taking the wrong path in life. Since then, I have been determined to prove everyone wrong and show off the musical talent I have. My music takes inspiration from Hip Hop production and elements of indie music I was brought up on to create my own blend of bedroom pop. I am currently releasing my first single ‘Dream World’ which releases on February 12th with a Press campaign from Band Wagon Press and radio pluggers on board. I have support from BBC Introducing and members of Easy life. I also have 2 VEVO official music videos ready to release as well as a 5 song EP and a 5-song mixtape.
